Lost Lucy was found in the trash..wet and alone.

Now she has a new home in a quilt store for all to admire.

Side table refurbish

 Sorry I don't have a before picture of this piece.

 It was an ugly brown box in need of TLC.

 Since it wasn't real wood I had to use adhesive primer to make

the paint stick.  I added a little of my fun floral, sealed with a couple coats

of poly then I enhanced the piece with some rope and ribbon.



Old cupboard door made into message board

Took an old door flipped it over pasted bible comics radomly all over. 

 Chalk board on top and cork board on bottom added a

 bit of rope to cover the imperfection.

Before & After

My client Jackie wanted these chairs to be updated not only

because of the outdated fabric but, because of the terrible

job that was done when she had someone glaze them.

As you can see they left marks that should have been sanded

out plus the glaze was gooped up in many areas.  It looked

like he had actually left his finger prints in some areas.

So I sanded and painted and reglazed... reupholstered the seats

Jackie's fabric choice.

And their you have it!  What do you think?  A nice improvement!

Jackie loved them and that's all the matter right?

This is an old chair that just needed a bit of help..so

I started by creating my own color with paint..a little of this and that and turned it into chalk paint got the recipe from pinterest via http://www.lizmarieblog.com/2011/10/homemade-chalk-paint/

I lightly sanded to give the chair a distressed look..

I added rope and mimi puff trim to add a little fun!

I painted them black and added gold

metallic over for a little something, something..

Began with a light stenciling and added my thing!

Mary loved them and they fit right in with kitchen.

She gave me another project pictures later!
